On Your Doorstep

The Chapel building is perfectly positioned on the edge of the small town of Cinderford, in the Forest of Dean.

The town of Cinderford has all the town amenities you would expect within walking distance. There are ATMs and two supermarkets, Lidl and the Co-op plus a range of independent retailers. There are a few pubs and cafes in the town, as well as a wonderful retro 2-screen cinema, Palace Theatre which was built in 1910 and is one of the oldest in the UK. It shows the latest movie release and is certainly worth a visit during your stay.

Combined with its close proximity to the heart of the forest, Forest Chapel Holidays provides a fantastic base to walk, cycle or drive to explore the forest and surrounding area, whether for a few days or a week-long stay.

Very stylish and comfortable School Rooms accommodation – and a great base for family days out.

This is the second holiday that we have had at the Chapel - we were so pleased with the service and accomodation. We arrived early and Geoff let us in straight away. The welcome hamper was lovely and the accomodation was beautifully clean and had everything we wanted/needed. We love this part of the country and the location is perfect for walking and relaxing. We will be booking again for next year without a doubt. Thank you to Lynda and Geoff for your excellent service and hospitalilty.
