Once a Chapel - now very English country house.
A converted Chapel, originally built in 1864, makes Pew Corner very 'Country House' living, and the largest and most elegant of our Chapel properties.
It offers such fabulous accommodation for a short break or longer stay with the convenience of having the small town of Cinderford and its amenities on your doorstep.
We added the Chapel as a satellite property to our little hamlet of five luxury self-catering holiday cottages just a short 6 mins drive away.
When you book a Chapel property with us, you get the benefit of free access to all the facilities on offer at our nearby hamlet, including a woodland hot tub pass, children’s play area (indoor and outdoor), valley view tea room, woodland walks and treetop picnic platform, and onsite falconry experiences (pre-booking is essential). You can reserve your woodland hot tub session with towels (changing room and wc).
Arrive at Pew Corner down the distinctive building’s drive to your allocated free private parking. Through the wrought iron gate to unlock Pew Corner’s front door, step into the hallway and kick off your shoes and prepare for a treat.
A short flight of stairs, heads up to a landing. On the right, a spacious, airy second bedroom with double size bed and a bathroom with bath, power shower over and very modern frameless glass shower screen.
Ahead of you, a kitchen/diner (dining space for 6 people) is overlooked by an original full height 11.5’ tall Chapel window, dressed with sheer voile, and the gallery to the sitting room above. On one side of the well-equipped kitchen there’s an impressive array of discrete integrated appliances including a gas five burner hob, electric double fan oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and opposite a tall fridge with separate freezer and a microwave.
A second flight of stairs heads up to a further landing and to an impressive and spacious galleried sitting room. The beautiful full Chapel architecture window, gives this room an elegance and sophistication. With bright gold large settee and armchairs grouped around the TV and DVD player, the room is a light and comfortable place to relax during your stay.
A door on the right leads into the master bedroom, with double size bed, in a spacious bedroom with another impressive 11’ tall Chapel window, dressed with elegant voile and silk curtains. The en-suite bathroom has an ultra-modern clear glass walk around shower screen.
Outside: Shared seating area and BBQ area with pretty planters. Cycle Store.

Amy, John and family
This is the second holiday that we have had at the Chapel - we were so pleased with the service and accomodation. We arrived early and Geoff let us in straight away. The welcome hamper was lovely and the accomodation was beautifully clean and had everything we wanted/needed. We love this part of the country and the location is perfect for walking and relaxing. We will be booking again for next year without a doubt. Thank you to Lynda and Geoff for your excellent service and hospitalilty.
